Askcare Femtech: Democratizing Women’s Health in Africa
10 FINALIST - II Entrepreneurship Call 2025: Women in Technology
In Senegal, where access to healthcare remains a challenge, Askcare Femtech, founded by Aissatou Diallo, is transforming the way women receive diagnosis and treatment for cervical cancer, the leading cause of cancer-related death among women in many African countries.

An urgent problem
Africa accounts for nearly 80% of new cases and deaths from this type of cancer but represents only 3% of the global diagnostics market. The barriers are significant: distant medical centers, expensive equipment, and a shortage of reliable, locally-adapted devices. The consequence is devastating: too many women go undiagnosed and untreated.
The Askcare solution
Askcare offers a revolutionary approach with its “3T” model in a single visit:
Rapid test: diagnosis in 15 minutes for just $10.
AI-assisted digital colposcope: risk assessment powered by artificial intelligence.
Thermocoagulator: immediate treatment of precancerous lesions the same day.
With this approach, patients receive diagnosis, triage, and treatment without losing time or follow-up, even in remote areas.
Accessible, adapted technology
Askcare merges innovation with practicality: FDA approved devices, affordable prices, and design adapted to local needs. The network already includes more than 80 health centers and laboratories in Senegal, with plans to expand to 14 African countries by 2030.
