Building the Future of Rural Spain
Across rural Spain, there are women with ideas, passion, and the drive to build something meaningful. What they often lack isn't talent, it's access. Access to financing, mentorship, and a community that believes in them.

Women Who Chose to Stay and Build…
In 2026, the Rural Entrepreneurship Program grew. 16 women selected from rural communities across Spain each with a different project, a different story, and a shared determination to build something that lasts.
Through financing, mentorship, training, and community, Tara For Women walks alongside each of them not just to grow their business, but to grow their confidence, leadership, and impact.

Across rural Spain, 16 women are rewriting the story.
Not the story of villages left behind. But the story of women who stayed, built, and changed everything around them.
From Asturias to Tenerife. From Bizkaia to Extremadura. Each of them leads a project rooted in purpose and backed by the belief that where you are born should never determine how far you go.
With the right support, these women are:
Creating jobs and injecting new energy into local economies
Building businesses that respect the land and champion sustainability
Keeping ancestral knowledge alive and celebrating cultural identity
Turning "staying" into the most powerful choice a woman can make
This is what rural revival looks like in 2026.
Not a policy. Not a statistic.
16 women with an idea, a community, and the courage to go all in.
Because when one woman rises in a small town, the whole town rises with her.
Meet the Entrepreneurs
We don't just support from a distance… We show up!
This year, we're hitting the road. 🚗
Soon, the Tara For Women team will meet with some of the selected entrepreneurs in their towns, in their workshops, and in the places where their projects come to life.
Because we believe that real support starts with really listening.
Here's how we walk alongside each of them:
Direct Economic Support
From covering self-employment fees to funding materials, advertising, and specialized workshops, we remove the financial barriers that stand between a woman and her business.Group Training & Community
Through collective workshops, they build skills and something even more powerful — a sisterhood. Marketing, finance, branding, digital strategy all designed around the real challenges they face every day.Mentorship & Personalized Guidance
Every woman is paired with a mentor who walks the journey with her one on one, tailored to her specific project, her specific dream.
